Neglect

*pokes head out of ground*

Well. It seems I have a blog here, just languishing. For that,  I apologize. I will make an effort to update it this semester and beyond.

Law school has started. It’s possible I have too much on my plate. This week has already felt 100 years long. Will I make it? Let’s find out.

Freedom

without comments

Finally done with work. It’s truly an amazing feeling, but I’m not without my small twinge of sadness.

Before I left, I sent out an email to most of the team, telling them the usual stuff, you know, pleasure to work with all of you, etc. And surprisingly, some of them responded with very nice messages, which kinda caused me to realize I will genuinely miss some of them.

Others of them, not so much. But that’s neither here nor there.

Now begins the true countdown to law school, both orientation and the actual first day of class. I just dropped an obscene amount of money on books, including a deluxe hardcover edition of Black’s Law Dictionary, edited by none other than Bryan A. Garner, fellow Longhorn. It’s a little sad that I’m excited about receiving it, but whatever. I’m finally going to be doing what I want to do, and that’s one of the most exciting things ever.

I need to finish moving into my apartment as well and fix the wireless network. So much to do, sigh.

I Think I Can

without comments

Only four more days of work left, counting today. That is all I want to say right now, because it’s dominating my thoughts.

I think I can, I think I can…
